It is the little things in life!
Every day has challenges. Every day has ups and downs. Just like that anything can make a good day possibly the worst day in your life. Today is no different. My down of the day...Oh so tired even though I got 8 hours of sleep. My up of the day...chick-fil-a and "The Good Wife". No matter what kind of day you have you need to find some kind of light to make the day all worth it. Your boyfriend may have broke up with you, but you know what? Going for a run make it all better because for 30 minutes he was not the center of your thoughts. You took initiative and thought of yourself. Good for you. No matter how rough the day was or how tired you are, think of yourself and find something that can bring the light to a dark cave. Even if it is chick-fil-a and a TV show. Have a wonderful night cyber world! And mom, I love you!

Tired of feeling rushed in the morning.
I got tired of feeling rushed in the morning these last few weeks and found a few simple things that have helped speed a few things along. I was able to save myself 45 minutes in the morning! That means I can have a better breakfast in the morning, even apply make up every morning!
1. Take a shower at night. Not only do I feel relaxed before bed but no more waking up at 5:30 for a shower. Which also means no more blow drying my hair in the morning. In total this has saved me 30 minutes in the morning.
2. Lay my clothes out the night before. I already know what I'm wearing so in the. Morning there is no debate what to wear. Plus on days I have to wear my uniform it is easily 5 minutes saved for having to dig in a drawer grab all items needed and unfold them.
3. No more heat to my hair in the mornings. Not only does this save me 10 minutes or so but also saves my hair. With minimum heat to my hair the less damage I'm doing to it. In the end I have less split ends. Thank goodness! Sorry flat iron I only need you two days a week now, Saturday and Sunday.

It is Never to Late to Start Something New
Hey y'all.
Well like the title says it is never to late to start something new. My name is Sara Jo, as of today I am 19 years old serving in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman (Medical). Because of my current pay grade in the Navy I have to live in what we call barracks, which is best described as dorms. Probably not like your typical college dorms but it is fairly similar. I have a small room, but big enough for two people with two of everything. Two dressers, two desks, two night stands, two beds, two closets, two fridges, However there are things my roommate and I do share, a third closet, a bathroom, a sink, and most importantly personal space. Yes, I know sharing the same air with someone everyday can be highly annoying, especially if you are both two different types of people. I'm slightly OCD everything has to be a certain way at all times. Her on the other hand, she is the complete opposite of me. When I moved into my room back in August 2014, my room was already one way and never really changed. My roommate had already been living in this room since February 2014, so why should I change how things are? On February 13, 2015 my roommate got married and according to Navy policy she can no longer live in the barracks. So starting March 1st I will be living in my own room, and able to do what I need to, to survive living in the barracks.
